About the Artist - Lori Aylesworth

Lori Aylesworth grew up in rural NW Indiana and she has been an active student of nature and art since early childhood.  She has made her home in Leavenworth, WA. 

After years of exploring oil and acrylic painting,  Lori turned to watercolor and was captivated by all of the possibilities offered by this medium.  She now enjoys the options of using, pastel, watercolor, pencil, ink, and acrylic in her work, allowing for a wider avenue of artistic expression. 

Lori has painted many commissioned works and also shows in many other art shows in the Northwest.  Her work can also be seen in the Miller Fine Art Gallery in Leavenworth, WA. And Apple Annie’s Antique Mall, HWY 2 Cashmere, WA. 

Whether the subject is grand or common, Lori’s hope is that the viewer will take a moment to consider the beauty and importance of the wildlife and nature around us.
