Bob Jamison is an oil painter currently living in Bremerton, Washington.
I have followed the footsteps of my mother and aunt who were accomplished artists. I have been painting since the third grade. My dad used to take me to the local fair to enjoy the carnival and rides, but watching painting demonstrations and looking at art was much more fascinating. This led to a college degree in fine art and the opening of the first arts program at Eastern Idaho Technical College. I also taught at Idaho State University. Over a thousand students, 193 murals, 257 ribbons and awards, and many decorative art projects later, my artistic passion has blossomed into a full time career. I do 26 art shows a year and teach 2 nights a week in the winter. Having your art in the outside of buildings and in people’s homes is the greatest compliment a person could get.
My work is done in mixed media, brush, pallet knife, and airbrush. My canvas prints are produced in my own studio. I paint large murals, still life’s, garden art, seascapes, landscapes, portraits, cartoon characters, floral and bathroom art.
